World Wine Championships® — August Wine Reviews

Luxury Spirits Competition
The Luxury Spirits Competition is open to commercially available spirits from all categories and distillate styles with a suggested retail price of $50 or more.
Entry also includes evaluation in the packaging competition, allowing the product’s presentation to be assessed alongside the quality of the liquid.

New York World Spirits Competition

Specialty, Heritage & Innovative Spirits Competition
This competition recognizes specialty spirits, traditional regional distillates and products that expand established spirits categories.
Eligible products include spirits meeting the U.S. TTB Distilled Spirits Specialty definition, along with Raicilla, Bacanora, Sotol, Cachaça, Pisco, Singani, Shochu, Soju, Baijiu, Genever, Korn, Arak, Raki, Aguardiente, moonshine, Grappa, Marc and eau-de-vie.
Innovative entries such as koji-fermented whiskey, hybrid spirits and blends crossing traditional category boundaries are also eligible.
