In our on-going video series, Notes from the Lab, we interviewed BevTest wine trade panelists after their blind tastings for the 2025 New York Wine Classic competition to get their observations on the state of New York Wines.
One interesting thesis that emerged from our evaluations of nearly 700 wines was the potential of New York wines, due to their high quality, stylistic similarity, sustainability, availability, and now price, to serve as alternatives to European wines impacted by trade wars and tariffs.
